The renovation of this upper-level duplex unit was guided by a client prioritizing indoor air quality. Capturing space from an unused bedroom closet allowed for same-level laundry, formerly a four-flight round-trip to the basement. Swapping the old gas stove for a new induction cooktop with a vent hood improved indoor air quality. Smooth tiled floors enable easy cleaning, and a new east-facing window allows lots of bright morning light into this kitchen.
